How’s this for coloring outside the lines? Start this 5k in a stark white t-shirt and finish looking something like the inside of a kaleidoscope. Something about running while getting splattered with as much paint as possible makes me feel like I’m fulfilling a handful of childhood dreams. The fact that you’re not necessarily a big runner won’t be an issue when surrounded by all this color craziness. It’s more fun than you can imagine, and the fact that you’re running a 5k is the last thing on your mind.

For those who aren’t familiar with the run, it’s at the opposite end of the spectrum from your standard, boring 5k. Participants make their way along the route at their own pace while dousing each other with brightly colored paint! At the end of the race, they have a party complete with live music, color throws, and more colorful fun.
