Desert Door x Cane Rosso Dinner

On Thursday, May 27, Desert Door Texas Sotol is hosting a four course dinner in collaboration with Cane Rosso to commemorate the launch of the second limited release barrel from the brand’s recently launched Explorer Series — the Toasted Barrel Texas Sotol. This is the second of eight barrels to be produced this year as part of the Explorer Series.
Upon arrival, guests will be warmly escorted to their reserved tables with a cocktail that will set the tone for the four courses and the respective drink pairings. The intimate dinner features Cane Russo’s signature offerings, including the decadent Caprese Chop, Meatball Slider and Truffle Mac n’ Cheese, and their PBR wood-fired pizza topped with pepperoni, house-made smoked brisket, candied jalapeños, house-made mozzarella cheese, and house-made barbecue sauce. The final course includes the restaurant’s Cow Tipping Ice Cream with a Desert Door Toasted Barrel-Aged Texas Sotol float.
Cane Rosso’s fresh, never-frozen dough is made in-house every day, using authentic 00 flour imported from Italy. The sauce for their pizza is made from hand-crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and their mozzarella is pulled fresh in-house daily. Cane Rosso pizzas are thin-crust and crafted using only the highest quality ingredients available, making them an obvious partner for Desert Door to create such a dynamic pairing dinner with.
To accommodate safety guidelines, tickets will be sold by the table and guests will be able to choose table capacities up to eight persons in two-person increments.
HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES: Tickets will be sold by the table to accommodate distance guidelines. Masks are required for entry and while guests are not seated at their assigned table.
