THE DISCOVER GREAT MUSIC LOUNGE AT AUSTIN

WHAT:  Viacom Music networks CMT, MTV, MTV2, and VH1, in partnership with Pizza Hut will host the hottest party of the Austin festival weekend, The Discover Great Music Lounge At Austin. The party will transform the American Legion Hall estate to highlight all the best that Austin has to offer.

Media, festival artists, VIPs and Austin’s elite will be treated to Pizza Hut’s new Bacon Cheese Stuffed Crust Pizza, as well as complimentary cocktails and beer.

This event will also be home to some of the most intimate shows of the weekend, with performances including VH1’s Bernhoft, MTV’s Kongos, CMT’s Sundy Best, and DJ Spencer Ludwig of Capital Cities.

Celebrating the launch of Pizza Hut’s new Bacon Cheese Stuffed Crust Pizza, guests of The Discover Great Music Lounge At Austin will experience all things “bacon” with bacon-flavored beverages provided by Bakon and a five-foot pig piñata suspended over the front lawn of the American Legion Hall, filled with bacon candy, gift cards, Viacom swag, and more. The on-site Pizza Hut Mobile Kitchen will be sampling free, full-sized slices of Bacon Cheese Stuffed Crust Pizza (cheese-only option will be available). Attendees are welcome to try their hand at life-sized Jenga, corn hole, and ping pong on the American Legion Hall lawn. For the first time ever, this year’s The Discover Great Music Lounge At Austin will have an indoor and an outdoor stage. The outdoor stage will host live music performances until midnight, and the indoor stage will keep it going until 2:00 a.m.
