Join us as we celebrate a Driskill Tradition and a season of merriment with the annual lighting of our lobby tree accompanied by the beautiful sounds of holiday music and caroling. For the fifth year in a row, we are honored to have with us a family from the Austin American-Statesman Season for Caring campaign to light the tree.

Once again, two iconic brands unite to kick-off the holiday season in style! The famed Driskill Hotel is partnering with the first lady of champagne, Veuve Clicquot, for an exclusive pop-up champagne bar during the hotel’s annual tree lighting. Those that gather around will have the opportunity to celebrate with bubbly when they visit the champagne bar, selling Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label by the glass.

Continue the celebration after the lighting in The Driskill Bar for some holiday cocktail favorites and see why Southern Living named us the Best Bar in Texas! Finish the evening with fresh desserts from the 1886 Cafe & Bakery served in The Driskill Bar.

The tree lighting will take place in our beautiful lobby. All are welcome to join in and is complimentary for all guests and our community.
