City Running Tours & Saucony present a fun and filling East Austin Taco Run!

Let CRT and Swift Fit Events take you on a trek through Austin’s east side neighborhoods and educate you on its cultural heritage, new and old.

The stops will feature 3 of the 4 taquerias from Austin’s Taco Mafia.

We’ll kick off the run at 7 PM from Cuanto’s Tacos and arrive back for the last round of tacos and bevs from Richard’s Rainwater and more!

THE ROUTE (4.5 miles): We start by running past Austin’s oldest city-owned cemetery through the ever-so-changing streets of the Chestnut neighborhood, home to Edgar Rico and Sarah Mardanbigi’s 12th Street Nixta Taqueria, where we will be making our first stop for some famous Rico Tacos.

Then we’ll jog through Central East Austin’s Boggy Creek Trail, a gorgeous shaded greenbelt patch, as we head to our second stop and say hello to our homies at Discada, Xose and Tony. Try their street corn it’s ballin’.

Then go back north to Cuantos Tacos specializing in Mexico City’s Suadero Street Tacos, and find out how Beto has cornered this style of cuisine in Austin.
