Drink and Starter Specials Every Tuesday

EAT EAST is a special summer neighborhood restaurant promotion where participating eateries located in central east Austin will offer a cocktail and appetizer special in the $8 to $10 range on Tuesday nights beginning July 14 through Labor Day.

Created by Chad Dolezal (chef/co-owner) and Victor Farnsworth (general manager/co-owner) of The Hightower (1209 East 7th Street), EAT EAST is meant to encourage the Austin community to experience the growing restaurant and bar scene of east central Austin, and specifically, businesses located on East 7th Street and East 6th Street. Since opening The Hightower in January 2014, Dolezal and Farnsworth have enjoyed getting to know the owners of neighboring eateries and bars, and they believe that the EAT EAST summer dining series will further develop the food scene in the area. Information on exact appetizers and drink specials available at each EAT EAST participating restaurant can be found on each restaurant’s Facebook page and social media accounts.

Stop by the participating east side eateries this summer! Specials will vary for each restaurant, but generally they will go from 6-9 pm. Be sure to check the specific Facebook Pages below for details and hours.
