Elisabet Ney Museum: June Landscape Day

Jun 5, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

After a long dry spell, the rains gave the wide-ranging late Spring wildflowers a needed boost! A stroll along the trail provides a symphony of color and lovely scents! There is one plant that spoils the show however. On Saturday June 5, from 9AM to 11AM, join the museum’s Environmental Educator Mino Giunta and other volunteers in an educational Landscape Workday. The primary culprit, Torilis Arvensis, or hedge parsley (aka beggar’s lice), will be the main focus of the day. You can join the fun by signing up at GivePulse.com or at Eventbrite (linked here), or by writing Lindsay Barras at lindsay.barras@austintexas.gov . Or just show up! Bring gloves, water, and a mask!
