TEAM UP FOR EPIC THANKSGIVING DINNER A Festive Family-Style Thanksgiving Meal Paired with Argus Ciders + a Smidge of Whiskey
WHO: Chef and owner Sarah McIntosh of Épicerie combining forces with winemaker and owner Wes Mickel of Argus Cidery.
WHAT: Tis the season to over indulge, and over indulge guests shall with a five- course, family-style Thanksgiving meal curated by chef Sarah McIntosh and Wes Mickel, paired with Argus Cidery fermentables. As one of McIntosh and Mickel’s favorite meals of the year, the two decided why not give guests a stellar jump-start to Thanksgiving where one can kick back and enjoy a proper holiday feast with no work required, and where family is optional. Guests will begin the holiday meal with the likes of cured ham with savory pumpkin beignets and sage honey, before moving on to fried turkey and spit pig, accompanied by traditional sides (imagine grandma went to the culinary school). Rounding out the meal will be a cheese course curated by Epicerie cheesemonger, Daniel Largess, before moving on to dessert and finally a complimentary whiskey tasting by Shadd Scott of Pioneer Wines to round out the light evening.
