Introducing no. II — charcoal. A weekend-long celebration of food, music, art and drink. Charcoal is rooted in Should Sugi Ban — an old Japanese concept of preserving wood by burning it till it’s black then oiling it. Burning for beauty and for tradition is also rooted within the Indian culture. Here, we celebrate Eastern practices with Texas culture. We gather together for a weekend of soulful music, smokey cocktails, and carefully charred dishes.
