Full Moon Festival at Dreamland
July 24 @ 7:00 pm - July 25 @ 1:00 am$40
Dreamland, the one-of-a-kind outdoor entertainment, recreation and arts venue located in Dripping Springs, Texas, is hosting their inaugural Full Moon Festival on Saturday, July 24 with music and entertainment, sports and activities, food and beverage, and more. Central Texans and visitors from beyond are invited to this unique and memorable celebration under a big full moon in the Texas Hill Country. General admission tickets are available now for $40 at dreamlanddstx.com/events/fullmoonfest. Ticket holders are also invited to bring their tents and camp overnight at the venue.
The night’s musical delights include Golden Dawn Arkestra, funky cosmic explorers who have been described as an Austin psychedelic afrobeat collective and part P-Funk, world beat, jam band, and psych rock. Also on deck to perform is Alex Maas, a member of beloved Austin psych rock band The Black Angels who just released his solo album “Luca” at the end of 2020. Darkbird – the brainchild of Kelly Barnes (vocals) and Brian Cole (guitars) drawing comparisons to the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, among others – and Viben & The Submersibles – bringing the scuba funk – will add to the musical ebb and flow of the evening. And a late-night DJ will take attendees into the wee hours.
Attendees will also have access to Dreamland’s world-class miniature golf courses and lighted, weather-protected pickleball courts for some of the evening. In addition, food will be available on-site, and the beer garden and tap room will be open until late offering a variety of beer and wine from all over the region.
