Garrison Bros. Salado Bourbon Excursion

People who really love whiskey know all about Garrison Bros.—becuase it’s the only brand making a legit, real-deal, puritanical bourbon in Texas. At a distillery in the little town of Hye, a man named Dan Garrison has accomplished what many have tried and failed to do. For people who have long conversations in the corners of dark bars about the art of bourbon appreciation, Dan Garrison is a hero.

If you know one of these hardcore whiskey-lovers, or if you aspire to really know your stuff, you should buy tickets for the brand’s next Bourbon Excursion to beautiful Salado. Guests will get a couple of days filled with spectacular bourbon and bourbon cocktails (if you aren’t ready to drink it straight just yet). Garrison Bros. is partnering with vendors like Salado Winery and Barrow Brewery to make it a local affair.
Throughout the weekend there will be lots of amazing music, art, and food. And lots and lots of bourbon. Don’t forget the bourbon. Highlights include a cocktail reception on Friday with yard games like bocce ball, croquet, and washers and an amazing bourbon pairing dinner under the stars on Saturday.
