George Huffman, an award-winning artist, is participating in the 2021 Austin Studio Tour on the weekends of November 6-7 and 13-14, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day (map #186). As part of the tour, local Austin, Texas art enthusiasts will be able to browse Huffman’s latest collection, displayed in situ. In this on-going painting series, Huffman explores the concepts around emotional awakenings and the struggle and pain that emerge from such experiences. Huffman uses his skills with intense color, texture, and composition to create intimate pieces derived from the emotional impact of memory. Participants will be able to interact with the artist and purchase art during the tour. Masks are required to enter the studio.
