It will be the 25th year that the city has hosted the popular, three-day festival to celebrate the history and beauty of its poppy season. Red poppies have been a part of Georgetown’s landscape for more than 100 years; it is one of the few locations in the United States where red poppies reseed each year. The 2024 festival will feature live music throughout the weekend, handcrafted works from local artisans, a classic car show, food and family-friendly activities – including a Kid’s Fun Zone – and more.
