Georgetown’s Annual Red Poppy Festival Returns in April

The “Red Poppy Capital Of Texas,” Georgetown, Texas, celebrates the return of its 22nd Annual Red Poppy Festival April 22 – 24. The City of Georgetown has hosted this free, three-day festival for more than 20 years to honor the history and beauty of its poppy season.
The 2022 weekend includes a new cornhole tournament, parades for people and pets, a car show, live music, art, food and family-friendly activities including the free Kid’s Fun Zone and more. Country musician and a Lone Star favorite, Jack Ingram, will headline the festival Saturday night.
