Half Step Crawfish Boil

Half Step will be hosting a traditional Alabama Bug Boil on Sunday, May 14, with a day full of live music, bourbon punch, and plenty of crawfish! Starting at 2:00 PM, Half Step is being taken over by a crew of party folks from Mobile, Alabama – led byRoy Clark of The Haberdasher – to show Austin how boiling crawfish is done on the Alabama coast. Proceeds from the event will benefit Adam Bryan, a local bartender and craft cocktail guru, in his recovery from a motorcycle accident.
Half Step’s Crawfish Boil

Half Step will be open from 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Crawfish boil will begin at 3:00 PM
Live music from The Pine Hill Haints of Mobile will begin at 4:00 PM

Details: Guests can give a $10 suggested donation at the door, granting them a bourbon punch, a rare Austin show by The Pine Hill Haints of Mobile, and all the crawfish and accoutrements they can eat! Roy Clark of The Haberdasher will be at Half Step boiling the mud bugs. Also, Half Step’s own George St. John will be making a special guest appearance at the event.
