Heard Industry Field Day

Come out to Republic Park on Monday, November 18th, from 6-9pm and cheer on your favorite team of industry vets as they compete in nostalgic field day events, with a service industry twist! Place bets on which team will reign supreme, and become eligible to win one of our amazing raffle prizes! Warmup events led by Comedor Run Club.

Participants include the owners, managers, and staff of all your favorite spots, including: Comedor, Holy Roller, Foreign and Domestic, El Dorado, Nickel City, Stiles Switch BBQ, The Liberty, New Waterloo, Swedish Hill, Fixe Southern House, Rustic Tap, and many more! Sponsored by Republic Park, CLEAN Cause, and Rambler Sparkling Water.

$5 suggested donation at the door

Food Available: Pueblo Viejo (of Cosmic Coffee and Beer) will be in the park, with tacos available to purchase. Bring a picnic blanket, grab dinner, and watch the events from the grass! Both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages available.

Raffle tickets for purchase using cash/card/venmo. $5/1, $90/20
Do you think Team 1 will win? Team 3? Use your raffle tickets to place your bets on who will be the Field Day champion. Tickets will be drawn from the winning teams jar to determine raffle prize winners.

Comedor Run Club Warm Up- Scout the talent while the teams warm up with stretching, a watermelon toss, and scooter obstacles, led by Philip Speer of Comedor, Ben’s Friends, and Comedor Run Club.

Field Day Events:

Ticket Time Relay- Can you remember the order? Can you assemble it and make it back without spilling it? Can you do it while timed? Show us your best work, and if you make a mistake, you’ll be penalized!

Sidework Showdown- A timed event that requires each team to complete multiple sidework tasks, such as marrying ketchup bottles, rolling silverware setups, as quickly as possible.

Tableside Service- One competitor will assemble, correctly, a mystery tableside item while blindfolded, only using their teammates’ verbal guidance.

Overslept Setup- Each team showed up late to their shift, and now has to set up the bar for service as quickly as possible. Get the ice filled, beer stocked, and garnish cut on time, and be ready for your uniform check afterwards!!

Mystery Final Event: The overall winner will be decided with one final mystery challenge!!
