Houndstooth Coffee’s 8th Anniversary

Houndstooth Coffee’s East Austin location will be hosting a party on Saturday, May 5 from 6 P.M. until midnight in celebration of their eighth anniversary and just in time for Cinco de Mayo. Houndstooth Coffee has partnered with their neighbors, Creative Action, for the party, and $2 from each margarita and $1 from each beer sold will benefit Creative Action’s program, Cooking for Campbell. Cooking for Campbell supports L. L. Campbell Elementary Media & Performing Arts Institute’s Spark Schools program, which works to address pressing needs facing low-income schools in Central Texas, such as under-enrollment, rapid teacher turnover, lagging student performance, through arts-based interventions that improve test scores, enrollment, and morale. Houndstooth Coffee will also match the total amount raised for the night.
