The perfect introduction to percussion: Students will explore and play multiple instruments within the percussion family while also practicing reading, writing, and performance.  All students will participate in a musicianship class, percussion technique and exploration class, as well as an ensemble class.  We will play hand drums, xylophones, and stick technique for snare drum.  In musicianship class, students will enjoy new songs and dances as well as some favorites from the school year.  Some known songs will also be used in percussion class to practice newly learned instrumental skills.  A great opportunity to try something new while also brushing up on your rhythmic skills!
