Jacoby’s Festivus

WHO: The festive folks at Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile and the Little Longhorns
WHAT: Now in it’s second year, Jacoby’s Festivus is a holiday party for everyone. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. when guests can enjoy refreshments like hot chocolate and holiday cookies while gathering on Jacoby’s bluff overlooking the Colorado River. To get everyone in the holiday spirit, the UT Elementary choir will be singing carols and the evening will culminate with a tree lighting at 7:30 p.m.
Jacoby’s Festivus is not only about bringing family and friends together for a fun holiday kick-off – it’s also about giving back to others. That’s why Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile will be selling ornaments throughout December with proceeds benefiting their east side neighbors at UT Elementary. Ornaments will go on sale the night of Jacoby’s Festivus.
The evening also kicks off the season’s first Sip & Shop in the Jacoby’s Mercantile. Every Tuesday in December from 5-9 p.m. shoppers can enjoy light bites and libations while they browse the carefully curated goods. Jacoby’s Mercantile is the perfect place to shop for the person that has everything with its eclectic offering of unique and vintage goods. Everything in the Mercantile will be 20% off during the Sip & Shops.
Jacoby’s Festivus is free and open to the public. The restaurant will be open for normal business hours and diners are encouraged to join the festivities on the bluff before or after dinner.
