For one very special night on Saturday, August 23rd, world renowned artist Jermaine Rogers will be in Austin at ART on 5th for a gallery talk with collectors. ART on 5th will be featuring rare silkscreen prints from early in Jermaine’s career to the very latest releases. Also featured will be sold out editions, original sketches and drawings, handbills, and the iconic and collectible vinyl dolls. This is a very rare opportunity for fans of Jermaine Rogers and art collectors of all types to view 20 years of his art career. Having emerged from the 1990’s rock poster scene to being a permanent fixture in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame collection in Cleveland, Ohio, Jermaine’s work has transcended hundreds of artists and has become an enigma of its own. Jermaine’s work will be featured in the gallery from August 4th to September 6th so be sure to stop in for a preview of this truly eclectic rock artist.

Jermaine Rogers is most widely known as one of the leaders in the field of modern rock poster art. This involves the creating and production of promotional poster artwork featuring concerts, musical events, and musical releases by certain rock and roll artists. Jermaine Rogers has created these pieces of advertising since the year 1994. By 1996, due to growing workloads and collectible popularity in this field, Rogers abandoned his secular job to pursue the creation of poster art on a full-time basis. For the last few years, Jermaine has chosen to concentrate more on fine art, design, and other personal pursuits.
