Keep Austin Weird’s 5.12K Run to Brunch Presented by Karbach Brewing Company

Registration is now open for Keep Austin Weird’s 5.12K Run to Brunch Presented by Karbach Brewing Company, celebrating all that makes Austin, Austin – from the city’s unique culture of creativity and innovation to the passionate self-expression of Austinites themselves. Celebrate Austin, get in your steps, dine for less, and support Southern Smoke Foundation’s Austin Relief Fund, which is helping people in the local food and beverage industry impacted by COVID-19, from September 20th – October 18th, 2020.
Registrants can run, walk or jog 5.12 kilometers anywhere and anytime between September 20 – October 18, to unlock registration benefits. These benefits include the Keep Austin Weird Restaurant Card that allows all registrants to enjoy 20% off purchases for two months at 20 Austin restaurants including Alice’s Restaurant, Blenders & Bowls, Bob’s Steak and Chop House, Comedor, El Arroyo, La Condesa, L’oca D’ora, MezzeMe, Old Thousand, Olive & June, Parkside, The Backspace, The Peached Tortilla, Second Bar & Kitchen, Spread & Co., Vamonos, Via313 Pizzeria and more from September 20 – November 20th. They will also receive a one of a kind race shirt, a downloadable bib to wear during your 5.12K walk or jog, and access to a bevvy of fun demonstrations and performances showcasing the city’s fitness, culinary, entertainment and cocktail scenes.
The 5.12K Run to Brunch is excited to partner with Southern Smoke Foundation to help raise money and awareness for their Austin Relief Fund, helping people in the local food and beverage industry impacted by COVID-19. Tito’s Handmade Vodka is adding support to Southern Smoke by donating $5 for each registration purchased on “Tito’s Tuesday’s,” through October 18, matching up to $1000 in donations made during the virtual kickoff and finish line events, and teaming up with Bloody Revolution Gourmet Bloody Mary Mixes to provide delicious cocktail kits to the first 100 race registrants who donate $50 or more to Southern Smoke.
