Kentucky Derby Watch Party and Dachshund Dash

Calling all dachshund owners! We are inviting y’all to bring your fur babies to compete in the cutest race of all time! Information is listed below, but please feel free to email jackalopemarketing@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Start time

The race will be held at approximately 5PM (if weather permits)

Check in
We ask that all competitors arrive by 4:15/4:30 and check in with us at our table that will be set up outside. This race is free! We’ll have contestants sign a waiver since your pets will be off leash for the dash (we need a good clean race people)! Check in with a buddy because the race will require 2 humans!

The Dash Itself
It’s a short dash with the pups starting on one end with your trusted buddy and you at the finish line (with a toy/treat if you wish) to encourage your dog to be the first to cross the finish line! There will be “lanes” taped down but these are mostly for show.

The Winner!
We have prizes and gifts from our sponsors as well as a $100 Jackalope Gift Card and a super cute trophy.

Weather
Hopefully we can avoid any rain and we will try to adjust the track if possible.
Additionally we will have a photographer present to create some memories for you and your pet!

For all you humans, we will also have a Derby Hat competition for another chance at $100 Jackalope gift card, so come with your biggest and flashiest hats!
