Krampus: A Haunted Christmas
Dec 8, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
different way to celebrate the season. Terrifying audiences across the nation, Krampus: A Haunted Christmas will open in Austin for one weekend only – Dec 8-9, giving a much-needed break from carol singing and tree trimming, as the spirit – or the ghouls – of Christmas come to life.
Austin’s legendary House of Torment has been transformed to tell a twisted tale of terror where Krampus, a nightmarish demon, has kidnapped not only the bad, but also the good children at Christmas. Beloved yuletide characters of yesteryear, now macabre and maniacal, will terrorize guests in this distorted holiday nightmare – with all of the gut-wrenching twists, turns and special effects guests have come to expect.
House of Torment’s set and costume designers, make-up artists, and special effects technicians have produced a spellbinding experience resulting in an incredibly bone-chilling holiday event. With new scenes, set dressing, as well as frights and surprises around every corner, this year’s attraction will feature fully immersive audio experiences to up the macabre ante.
In addition to general admission ($26.99), guests can choose to upgrade tickets to a Fast Pass, which for $36.99, will provide admission for one and reserve entry time within a one-hour time block. As well, guests can choose a Skip the Line ticket option ($46.99), which provides admission and a chance to bypass lines. A limited number of Fast Pass and Skip the Line tickets are available for each night.
