Labor Day Weekend: World War II Pacific Combat Zone at the National Museum of the Pacific War
Aug 31, 2019 @ 10:30 am - Sep 2, 2019 @ 2:00 pm
$10
The World War II Pacific Combat Zone at the National Museum of the Pacific War is an immersive, live show in which military re-enactors move in to capture fortified positions from Japanese defenders, employing landing craft, explosives and even a flamethrower. The program runs approximately one hour.
The WWII Pacific Combat Program includes not only the sights and sounds of live combat, but also the personal stories of the men and women who fought in this particular theater. In addition to watching the battle unfold, guests learn about the role of women during WWII as well as the roles of the five branches of the U.S. military. After the show, guests can meet the actors and get a first-hand look at equipment used by both American and Japanese forces.
