The Get Up is hosting a panel event “The Role of Government and Your Vote” on May 2nd from 6-8pm at Live Oak Brewing Company. In this conversation, a panel will answer what the various bodies of government are responsible for (from the Texas state legislature to the Mayor’s office to Congress to the White House) and what impact your vote can have on the whole thing.
