Literary Liberations Cocktails

Literary liberations week doesn’t have to be tame. It doesn’t even have to require reading, though of course, nothing complements fun more than a book!

Instead, the Texas Book Festival is celebrating with a variety of literature-inspired cocktails from some of the most popular bars in Austin, including:

• The Townsend
• Backbeat
• Small Victory

These places will be offering creative drinks like the Samizdat (an electric, technicolor scotch with fresh grapefruit peel), Life Finds a Way (a beautiful amber rye whiskey combo), and more, all in honor of mankind’s greatest treasure, literature.

Come celebrate ideas of old and new and swirl them into your head and and body!
