Mayoral and District 9 candidate forum

The Downtown Austin Alliance (Downtown Alliance) and Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association (DANA) will host a free and public candidate forum where attendees can hear from mayoral candidates Celia Israel and Kirk Watson. Candidates will be asked how they would respond to issues impacting our community if elected, especially as they relate to downtown.
Attendees will also hear from District 9 City Council candidates Linda Guerrero, Ben Leffler, Zohaib “Zo” Qadri, Greg Smith, Joah Spearman and Tom Wald.
The event will be emceed and moderated by local KVUE anchor and long-time Austinite Quita Culpepper. The public is asked to RSVP online if planning to attend.
