Mother’s Day Weekend Celebration with Art, Music and Food

Take your mother out of town this weekend for a celebration filled with art music, food and spirits in a truly unique setting in historic downtown Kingsbury at 620 Railway street. The litte town of Kingsbury is just an hour outside of town and well worth the drive! Join us for a pop up art show opening Friday, May 10th, featuring the paintings of Jessica Ward of San Antonio, fiber art by Donna Maske of Seguin, and felt work by Katz Ashbury of Seguin. The show opens in Downtown Kingsbury at 6 PM with a cash bar featuring local beer, wine and snacks. Stay to watch local band Firewater take the stage at 8 PM. The show is free and open to the public. Bring your appetite on Saturday, May 11th, to a delicious farm to table dinner prepared by Lionel Guerra and Veronica Fox of Seguin’s very own Mise Co. The four course dinner features chicken, beef, vegetables and fruits raised right here in Kingsbury! Tickets to the dinner are $50 and can be purchased on our website at www.habitablespaces.org. On Sunday May 12th at 1pm, learn something new at our 3 hour felt-making and eco-printing workshop. Mothers who attend the workshop will receive a free glass of wine or beverage of their choice.
