The National Museum of the Pacific War’s 33rd Annual Symposium Goes Virtual

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Admiral Nimitz Foundation and The National Museum of the Pacific War will hold its 33rd annual symposium online, September 18 – 19, 2020. This year’s symposium, titled Home Alive in ’45: Pivotal Decisions to End the War, will focus on the events surrounding the final days and lasting impacts of World War II, particularly in the Pacific theater. Keynote speakers include a New York Times’ bestselling author, noted historians, prominent university professors and experts on the war in the Pacific. In addition to lectures, each with live Q&A, there will be a live, interactive panel discussion.
