North By Northwest 17th Annual Oktoberfest

North By Northwest invites folks to join us at the brewery on Stonelake for our 17th annual Oktoberfest event, Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21. This event is free to attend. Brats, German fare and NX’s award-winning craft beers will be flowing aplenty in addition to live Oktoberfest music, artisan booths, face painting and contests all weekend long. Full schedule below.

Saturday evening hosts the main events:
Bratwurst Eating Contest: Three minutes of fun to see who can eat the most brats. The winner walks away with $100 cash.
Beer Stein Hoisting: A men’s and women’s hoisting challenge. Whomever hoists a liter of beer the longest in each challenge will come out $100 richer.
Sunday events include the ever-popular Wiener Dog Costume Contest (and not to worry, no wiener dog elitists here), and All Breed Dog Costume Contest. The parents of the best-dressed dogs receiving $100 North By Northwest gift cards and super swag!
Plenty of food and beer specials will be available, please check social media for up-to-date specials. In addition to NX’s fantastic brews there will be sodas for the kids, and wine, Jaeger Meister and Gold Schlager to add to the adult fun.
