Oktoberfest @Banger’s

Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden, home to Austin’s widest selection of handmade sausages and craft beer, celebrates Oktoberfest on Thursday, October 13th through Saturday, October 15th with German-influenced food, beer and live music, followed by their regular Big Brass Band Brunch on Sunday, October 16th.
Chef Ted will serve a special menu of bierwurst, spaetzle, schnitzel, weisswurst, and German potato cakes. A keg will be tapped in the beer garden daily and given away (free) a pint at a time to Banger’s guests until it’s gone. This year’s free keg is a ceremonial firkin of Live Oak.
Banger’s version of Oktoberfest games take place daily, open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Winners of each game will receive a “trophy” (Oktoberfest/Banger’s stein), t-shirt, and “Skip the Line” brunch voucher.
