Outside the City Limits at Vista Brewing

Vista Brewing and solar-powered Sun Radio invites you to a unique music experience in the beautiful outdoors in Driftwood, Texas for its inaugural Outside the City Limits (OCL). Sticking with the destination brewery’s motto, “Fresh Air, Fresh Beer,” Vista Brewing is celebrating its passion for music, great beer, farm fresh food and beautiful views in the Texas terrain with OCL.
Boasting seven of Austin’s favorite country, western swing and bluegrass bands performing on two stages, the OCL live music lineup will kick off at 1 p.m. and includes Padre Paul, the Hot Texas Swing Band, The Lost Pines, Light Horse Harry, Light Horse Harry, Sour Bridges and headliner The Derailers.

In addition to live music at the event, award-winning Vista brews, wine from Texas Fine Wine group, cider and food will be available for purchase. Vista’s own hyper local, farm-to-table food will be available for guests, along with wood-fired pizzas from our neighbors in Driftwood: Mandola’s Italian Kitchen mobile pizza oven and The Salt Lick BBQ. Vista will be unveiling a new canned beer just for this festival, sponsored by American Canning.
For this event, Vista Brewing has partnered with some of its favorite local brands and organizations. Guests can enjoy a Game Zone sponsored by ReWork Project that will feature lawn games like cornhole and giant Jenga or lounge under the live oaks in the Kammok Hammock Grove while enjoying Texas tunes. Brewery equipment manufacturer Criveller will be offering in-depth tours of Vista’s brewhouse. Non-profit Treefolks will be on site engaging customers in learning about the importance of the trees around us, as well non-profit Hill Country Conservancy sharing information about preserving our native landscapes and the upcoming Violet Crown Trail construction. Vista’s beekeeping partner BeeWeaver Apiaries offering samples of hop-infused honey. Local Austin printing firm Industry Print Shop will be onsite live screen printing T-shirt in the guests selected color and size.
