The Peached Tortilla Cookbook Launch

Long in the works, Eric Silverstein’s cookbook, “The Peached Tortilla: Modern Asian Comfort Food from Tokyo to Texas,” finally hits the shelves Tuesday, May 7. To celebrate, owner of The Peached Tortilla, Bar Peached and Peached Social House, Eric Silverstein, will pop up with his iconic food truck at Austin’s beloved independent bookstore, BookPeople. 

The special launch event will feature an author talk, Q&A session, book signing and, in this case, food. The speaking portion of the event is free and open to the public while tickets for the signing line are automatically included with purchase of the cookbook from BookPeople. Hungry readers needn’t wait for a taste of what’s between the cookbook’s pages as the purchase also includes a free order of Kimchi Arancini Balls and a Taco (Brisket, Banh Mi or Cauliflower) fresh from the food truck that started it all.
