Preservation Austin presents 2018 Historic Homes “Into The Woods” Tour

Preservation Austin has announced its highly-anticipated 2018 homes tour in Cherrywood, Delwood, and Wilshire Wood on Saturday, April 28. “Into The Woods” will showcase the postwar cottages and midcentury ranch homes of these East Austin neighborhoods. The tour will celebrate house histories and contemporary renovations, but also tell the stories of landmarks such as Maplewood Elementary and the funky Duplex Nation.
Preservation Austin’s Homes Tour is the organization’s biggest fundraiser, sustaining efforts to protect out city’s historic places for generations to come.
Tickets are $25 for Preservation Austin Members and $35 for non-members. Tickets and sponsorships may be purchase at www.preservationaustin.org. Bike Austin will provide bike racks and a route for cyclists.
