Red Wine Revelry @Infinite Monkey Theorem

The Infinite Monkey Theorem’s (IMT) is thrilled to introduce the wines of the 2015 harvest: Texas Tempranillo, Texas Merlot and The Blind Watchmaker, a Colorado and Texas Cabernet Franc Blend; and that calls for a celebration!  The urban winery nixed the stuffy wine dinner, inviting guests for an afternoon of live music, a Hefty Pour tour, giveaways and the main event: an interactive tasting and tour of IMT with Food for Thought Kitchen, former owners of Sagra.

                    Available from 5:30 p.m. until sold out, attendees can indulge in three wine and tapas pairings:

·        2015 Texas Tempranillo

o   Spicy Chicken Liver Crostini: grilled figs, onion confit, marsla reduction

o   Pan con Fava: fava bean crostini, walnuts, red pepper, raisins, crispy kale, dried cherry reduction (vegetarian option)

·        2015 Texas Merlot

o   Chorizo Fritatta Spanish Style Quiche: chorizo, potato, spinach, manchego cheese and pisto (Spanish style ratatouille)

o   Mushroom Goat Cheese Empanada: egg, smoked mushroom, and goat cheese pastry, piquillo pepper coulis (vegetarian option)

·        The Blind Watchmaker Blend (Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon)

o   Hill Country Lamb Albonigas: Spanish meatballs, puff pastry,

In addition to the above menu, savory bowls of paella made with chorizo, chicken, shrimp and mussels will be sold for $8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
