Rowing Dock’s Full Moon Paddle
July 13 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm$1 – $55
Join Rowing Dock for a fun-filled night of moon gazing on Lady Bird Lake, with the downtown skyline as your backdrop. Rowing Dock will outfit each vessel with a boating light and provide light lanyards, but feel free to come decked out in glow in the dark gear to make the experience even more radiant!
Time specific details:
7:30pm – 10pm: Check in is between 7:30pm – 8:30pm. We suggest arriving no later than 8:10 pm to ensure you are checked in and on the water before check-in ends. Guests who arrive after 8:30 pm will not be allowed out on the water and will not be given a refund. The evening will end promptly at 10pm. Please ensure your boats are back by this time to avoid significant late fees.
YOU MUST RETURN TO THE DOCK BY 10:00 PM.
What you need to know:
One person in your group will need to bring a valid state-issued ID and a matching credit or debit card. Your ID and card will be kept on file for incidentals. All individuals in your party must sign a waiver.
Wear a waterproof watch or bring a phone in a waterproof floating case so you know what time it is. You can also wear a fanny pack and store your valuables in it. We also rent splash bags and dry bags on the dock.
Do not leave any valuables (purse, wallet, keys, phone) in your car for any reason. Please leave non-essential valuables at home and bring the essentials with you on your vessel. Unfortunately, there has been an increase in break-ins in Zilker Park.
What is your refund policy? Cancellations made 48 hours in advance to your Full Moon Paddle will be refunded in full minus a 15% administration fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours out from your Full Moon Paddle departure date/time will not be refunded. If you need to reschedule to the next monthly Full Moon Paddle, please do so 48 hours prior to your reservation to avoid paying additional fees. Weather Policy: Should Rowing Dock close due to weather, all reservations will be refunded minus a 15% administration fee.
Are dogs allowed? This is not the best event for pets. We suggest leaving pets at home.
Can we bring a cooler? If you’d like to bring evening snacks and a small, portable cooler, you are welcome to. No glass is allowed. If you are taking food and drinks on the water, please make sure to bring a receptacle to keep your trash from getting into the lake and throw away your trash after your adventure.
What is the earliest I can arrive to get checked in? The earliest time to check in is 7:30pm. We recommend getting here as early as possible to avoid time crunches.
