St. Elias Mediterranean Festival

The 86th annual St. Elias Mediterranean Festival (Medfest) returns this year on Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd at St. Elias Orthodox Church, sponsored by Twin Liquors. Medfest, the longest running annual festival in Central Texas, celebrates Mediterranean cuisine and culture with a variety of Mediterranean foods, an Arabic shopping bazaar and music from Jabour and his Band and Laand Greek Band. The Jabour family, who owns and operates Austin-based Twin Liquors, has been involved in the community event since its inception. Tickets are available for a $5 donation at all Twin Liquors locations or can be purchased online at MediterraneanFestival.org and at the door. Admission will be free from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday to encourage family participation.
