St Elmo and Soursop Beer Dinner with LeRoy and Lewis

 
WHAT:                  Soursop and LeRoy and Lewis join forces for a four-course collaboration dinner with beer pairings and special brews from St Elmo Brewing Co.
The dinner brings together elements of smoke from pitmaster Evan LeRoy and Soursop’s Southeast Asian influence for a creative menu featuring dishes like Smoked Duck and Foie Dumplings, Burnt Ends with Ube Potato Salad, Smoked Duck Prosciutto, and more. Each course will be paired with one of St Elmo’s signature beers, highlighted by a unique Sichuan Saison brewed for the event by head brewer Bryan Winslow and Nathan Lewis, of the forthcoming LeRoy and Lewis brick and mortar space.
Welcome beers will begin at 6pm followed by dinner at 7pm.

Located at South Austin’s new destination, The Yard, adjacent to St Elmo Brewing, Soursop is taking food truck dining to a new level. A nod to “Asian drinking food”, the menu finds inspiration in Southeast Asian fare from Thailand and Vietnam to Malaysia and Indonesia. The playful dishes blend interesting ingredients and traditional components in creative ways.
 
                             LeRoy and Lewis Barbecue
LeRoy and Lewis is a new school barbecue truck offering a rotating selection of alternative cuts and creative sides made with locally sourced product. Pitmaster and Chef, Evan LeRoy incorporates elements of fine dining and from-scratch cooking into the menu to shine a new light on the traditional cuisine. Guests can expect old school market-style service of meats sliced to order and served by the pound. Seasonally inspired picnic-style sides and homestyle desserts accompany the varying meats. Open Thurs-Sun from 11am-3pm, LeRoy and Lewis is located at 121 Pickle Road.
