The Statesman Capitol 10,000 is the largest 10K race in Texas and one of the top 10 in the nation. In its 38th year, the Cap10K will take place on April 12, 2015 in downtown Austin. It’s an event you want to experience – from a two-day Health & Fitness Expo to a party at the finish line in Butler Park. The start of the race is iconic – right on Congress Avenue Bridge, heading straight for the State Capitol building. Passing through neighborhoods, up and down a few hills and ending into a beautiful park.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner, come see why the Cap10K is a rite of spring in Austin. You can come in your favorite super hero costume…or design your own shirt and run with friends. Focus on this being your personal best…or being your first time doing a 10K. The race can be whatever you want it to be to you. There is room for it all and we welcome it!
