Join us Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12th, for a Free Public Concert at HEB Central Market in Central Austin!
This concert for a healthier planet celebrates Austin’s environmental awareness, natural beauty, homegrown musicians, and companies who care. We’re promoting global ecosystem solutions to climate change and the species extinction crisis.
Kevin Russell is a musician extraordinaire. His first band, The Gourds, is legendary. His current band, Shinyribs (shinyribs.org), just won “Best Band” at the Austin Music Awards for the 2nd year in a row.
No mortal can resist his infectious grooves, down o Earth lyrics, sweet and salty singing, or colorful clothes.
Kevin & his original songs will be accompanied by string quartet, voices and horns, with string arrangments by Austinite Will Taylor.
