Stronghorn Flip & Slide

Who: Stronghorn Fitness, The Flatwater Foundation, Union Editorial, Texican Cafe and Twisted X Brewing Company
What: A tournament style game of Flip Cup, with each round completed by a slide down a giant Slip and Slide, made by local Austin entrepreneur Eric Goldreyer of FunAir…all in the name of charity!

When: Saturday August 19th from 1pm-4pm

Why: To benefit The Flatwater Foundation and to keep cool in the Austin Summer! The Flatwater Foundation is dedicated to providing those diagnosed with cancer, their families and loved ones access to mental health therapy and family support. This includes access to both traditional and non-traditional methods of psychological counseling.

By purchasing a ticket donation for this event you are receiving a ticket as the TEAM CAPTAIN for your TEAM of FIVE.
It is your job as team captain to put together the fastest sipping, flipping and slipping team you can think of!
While team members can be changed last minute if need be, we will need a list of 5 names by Monday, August 14th
Your $250 team donation includes for each of your 5 teammates:
-Donation to Flatwater
-Beer from Twisted X Brewing Company
-Nacho bar from Texican Cafe
-Water
-Facilities
A $25 spectator donation gets you beer and food, but no team entry. There are only 20 spectator spots available!
Rules:
-this is a bracket style, double elimination competition
-two teams will go face to face in a traditional game of flip cup. When the last person flips their cup they must run and slide down the slip and slide and run back to the first position on their team
-the game will continue until each person has slid down the slide and the first team finishes. The winning team will continue on to the next round while the losing team will head to the losers bracket! The top four teams will play a total of 4 games
-The winning team will take home $250!
NO GLASS AND NO LIQUOR
If you drink at the event, please make sure you have a designated driver OR use a rideshare service. If you do choose to drive (don’t drink…) and please park in the surrounding neighborhood. THERE IS NO PARKING ON THE PROPERTY!!!
Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, a frisbee etc!
This event is 21+ only!
ALL SALES ARE FINAL-you can transfer your tickets to other players, but no refunds will be given.
