The Sunday Morning Math Circle will be in room 5.104 of Robert Lee Moore Hall on the campus of UT on Sunday May 5, 12-2pm. The SMMG is an outreach event targeted at 6th-12th graders which attempts to supplement math topics that aren’t often covered in traditional math classes.
We will be discussing imaginary numbers–what are they? What do they mean? Do imaginary numbers really exist? We will also discuss how imaginary numbers help us in the real world. There will be free bagels, free pastries, free coffee, and free street parking!
