Tequila n’ Tacos

Austin’s taco lovin’ residents are about to have their taco dreams realized. West 6th is hosting Austin’s first organized Tequila n’ Tacos crawl on June 11, 2017. Crawlers can expect to nosh on some of the district’s best tacos as they enjoy craft libations featuring the tacos best friend, tequila. Expect entertainment like tequila tastings, live music and ping pong. Tickets are $35 and include one featured taco + drink per person at each crawl destination. Check-in is at noon at Little Woodrow’s. Destinations include:
- Star Bar | 1 pm | Ancho Verde Margarita + braised short rib taco with crispy onions and avocado salsa
- Parlor & Yard | 2 pm | Mia Sandia Poptail with Tequila512 and Ancho Reyes + bacon poached chicken taco with queso and bravas sauce
- Dogwood | 3 pm | barbacoa taco with bacon, avocado, escabeche and cotija (drink TBD)
- J. BLACK’s | 4 pm | house ‘rita or Paloma + chicken, pork, or beef taco
Green Light Social will host the official after party with their “Second Sunday” After Party with pop-up food, cocktail specials, live music and a DJ.
