The Sidewinder is a legit concert venue with a capacity of 300; this is an ALL AGES show!

THE PROM BANDS:

11pm – THE STUMMIES – Second and final set at 11pm to midnight!
10pm – THE STUMMIES – First set is at 10pm!
8pm – Jean Claude Van Jamme – This local cosmic action band is bringing the horns and bringing the 80’s to kick off the night!

With SPECIAL GUEST DJ set from:
THIS TOWN PRESS – Alexandra & Valerie will take over at midnight to 2am. They will spin their favorite 80’s songs in hopes that everyone will find love, no matter how temporary, this Valentine’s weekend!

No One Gives A Shit About Valentine’s Day: 80’s Punk Prom is a night filled with LIVE BANDS, COOL 80’s MUSIC, DRINKS, CANDY, LOVE, PUNKS & A COSTUME CONTEST WITH A PUNK PROM KING & QUEEN & more! A Photo Booth will also be available.

The Stummies are Austin’s Favorite 80’s Punk Party band since 1999! The Stummies remain a local Austin favorite with having the coveted “ONCE A YEAR” performance. This year they are back on Red River at the new venue The Sidewinder, on their outdoor stage to kickoff Valentine’s Weekend. Having had over 50 members since it’s creation, The Stummies have featured musicians from the following bands: Riddlin’ Kids, Threes Away, The Riverboat Gamblers, Born To Lose, Say Hello to The Angels, Good in the Sack, Maxie Dean, Nooner, Victory Drive, Missing Digits, Candidate, Tuesday Weld, The Irish Goodbye, Akina Adderly & The Vintage Playboys, Rex Banner, Murder Death Kill, New Disaster, Rubberhead, & more!
