About: We have an eclectic mix of art-fueled activities for November’s Third Thursday, including our “Dancing with Death” exhibition — now on view! 
Join us for a day filled with FREE events — from live music to tours — and refuel at our café with a slice of pizza & glass of wine for $5 (available after 5pm).

12:30pm-1:00pm ~ Public Tour: The Changing American Landscape. 
Learn about how the American West has beckoned artists since the 19th-century during this tour of the Blanton’s newly reimagined permanent collection.
5:30-6:15pm ~ Beat the Rush: The Music of Bauhaus. 
Skip the ATX traffic and experience something unique as Brent Baldwin (Director of Panoramic Voices) presents a Bauhaus-themed set with The Normans of Panoramic Voices, inspired by our current exhibition, “Dancing with Death.”
7:30-8:00pm ~ Slow Looking
Enjoy a thoughtful and relaxed 30-minute conversation about a single work of art on view at the museum.
Museum admission is always free on Thursdays. On the third Thursday of each month, the museum remains open until 9 pm.
The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
 
Paid parking is available in the Blanton/Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the front desk of the museum.
