After months of anticipation, Torchy’s flagship store is finally set to open its doors on Monday, January 18th at 6 PM for an opening party.

To make things fun, Torchy’s will be throwing an epic taco party with FREE tacos, snacks, family-friendly entertainment, music from The Lost Pines, and tons of giveaways.

Their first full opening day will be on Tuesday, January 19th at 7AM

Details On The New Flagship Store 

Jamie Chioco, who designed the new Torchy’s – said it was designed as a tribute to the past. The look of drive-in restaurants during the 1950s inspired the look, he said. The architecture also recalls iconic Fran’s Hamburgers, which closed on the same site in 2013. “We wanted to be a bit referential to the idea of Fran’s and the architecture of that time,” Chioco said. “It’s still a contemporary building but with a couple of nods to the past.” – According to a recent article in the Austin Business Journal (http://www.bizjournals.com/austin/news/2015/10/26/torchys-tacosflagship-south-congress-store-sets.html)
