After a successful first session, Tatsu-Ya and Vine Connections will be hosting a second virtual sake tasting on Saturday, Aug 15. The first tasting, which took place on July 18, was popular and kits sold out within two days.

The event will be held over Zoom from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be led by Tatsu-Ya’s Bryan Masamitsu Parsons and Tony Perez and Vine Connections’ Sake Specialist Jesse Brawner. The virtual event will lead guests through a brief “sake 101” before diving into an interactive in-depth tasting.

Sake enthusiasts of any level are encouraged to participate in the exploration of Japanese breweries’ contemporary creations. Guests who preorder will receive access to the exclusive virtual sake tasting session along with a sake tasting kit. Sake tasting kits will come complete with three four-ounce tasting bottles of premium imported Japanese sake accompanied by an assortment of Otsumami, or Japanese drinking snacks.

The event is available for preorder online now through Thursday, Aug 13 via tatsu-ya.com, under the Ramen Tatsu-Ya East Austin location. Limited spots and accompanying kits are available for purchase to ensure an intimate tasting experience. Kits will be available to pick up on Friday, Aug 14 at Ramen Tatsu-Ya East Austin between the hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
