Waller Creek Conservancy Field Day

DESCRIPTION: Waller Creek Conservancy, (WCC) a non-profit organization whose mission is to create and maintain a chain of urban parks around a restored Waller Creek, will host its first annual Field Day! This family-fun event will feature health-focused activities and games for people of all ages at Palm Park. With Field Day, WCC aims to demonstrate how parks play a vital role in the health of individuals and communities while raising awareness of Waller Creek’s continual transformation.
Activities include:
- Group exercise class
- Field Day- themed activity stations
- Booths and demonstrations presented by local partners
- Free giveaways
- Games geared for children ages 5-12
WHEN: Saturday, May 12th, 2018 (Rain date: May 18th)
All-ages exercise class begins at 8:30 a.m.
Programming runs from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
