Take your skills to the next level. In this learnshop you’ll learn the principles of good craftsmanship as Brian, of BDJ Craftworks, leads you through the creation of your own custom wooden succulent holder.

We’ve designed this learnshop to give you easy access into the world of wood working, and to leave you with a product you are proud of.

You’ll learn about types of wood, how to work with the grain, and techniques for gluing, clamping, sanding and boring using a drill press. You’ll also get to put on a beautiful coat of hand rubbed danish oil that’ll give your piece the essential finishing touch.

Meet the teacher: Brian David Johnson has been creating beautiful wood work since opening his own studio in 2002.

After years designing and building custom furniture, his main focus has become modern hand made decor available from his popular local label BDJ Craft Works
