Spooky Silent Disco at The Belmont

Quiet Events is holding it down with a pre-Halloween party on the 28th from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at The Belmont. Expect hundreds of party-goers decked out in their Halloween hotness singing, dancing, and drinking with 3 DJs battling for your attention all-night long. Costumes are not required, but they’re strongly suggested and a whole lot of fun! They’ll have a photographer on hand to capture all of the Halloween debauchery! Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door.


5th Annual Halloween Bar Crawl

Crawl you way through some of Austin’s favorite bars on Saturday the 29th during the 5th Annual Halloween Bar Crawl. The crawl includes a costume contest with cash prizes for the winners, food & drink specials at participating venues, waved covers at all venues, professional photography throughout the crawl, two free drinks and more. Tickets are $15 per person when bought in groups, and $20 when bought individually.


Goth Night at Old Thousand

Join Old Thousand at their east 11th location on Saturday, October 29th for a Goth Night menu – a sinister celebration of all things dark and dreary, including Damned Dumplings made with American Gothiccc Pork and Black Vinegar; Sacrificial Lamb Bao; Hot Pot Cauldron: Chef’s Choice of ingredients for you to concoct a restorative potion; Coffee & Cigarettes Black Sesame Creme Brulee and enchanting limited time cocktails. Spooky Screen on The Green at Fareground

Fareground is bringing the Halloween spirit with their Spooky Screen on the Green featuring Hocus Pocus under the stars. Join Fareground on Saturday, October 30th, for their free Halloween celebration with seasonal concessions, $4 happy hour drinks, popcorn and cotton candy, and “trick or treating” at each vendor located inside! Bring your own blanket and cozy up on their lawn. Hocus Pocus will start at 7 p.m. but you can show up as early as 5 p.m. to reserve your spot on the green. RSVP for free here.


Halloween Pet Portraits at Neighborhood Goods

Neighborhood Goods on South Congress is celebrating the season on Sunday, October 30th with Halloween pet portraits of you and your festive fur baby! Head to Neighborhood Goods from 1-4 p.m. for an afternoon full of complimentary pet portraits (dress your pet up in their spookiest getup!), homemade pup treats, live music, and more. You can find Neighborhood Goods at 1007 S Congress Ave. Unit 120.


Halloween at Easy Tiger

Each location of Easy Tiger will have unique celebrations happening throughout Halloween weekend with bat cookies, spooky cocktail specials, and other fun activities. Find locations and details below –

Haunted Hops Halloween 5k Beer Run 

Join The Brewery Running Series for a fun run event at Circle Brewing on Sat. Oct 29 at 11 a.m. They mapped out a 5k-ish course to start and end at this awesome taproom in North Austin. Run, walk, jog – whatever goes! All ages, all levels are welcome. Complete the course and celebrate with them – enjoy a FREE, local craft brew at the finish line. Registration starts at $30.


Haunted Halloween at the Estate 

On Monday, October 31, bring the kids and costumes to the Commodore Perry Estate as they celebrate Halloween with pumpkin painting, pastry decorating, and mystical treats. The tiniest of ghosts and goblins will be able to stroll the Mansion Inn, the Estate, the Sunken Gardens and up to Lutie’s for trick or treating from 4 – 8 p.m. Continue the witching hour spirit with a larder and cheese spread by Chef Susana Querejazu and unveil your fortune with a palm reading session with Miriam Webster, Sister Palm. Spooky adult beverages available for purchase throughout the evening. The event is free, open to the public, no RSVP needed.

Dance Yourself Clean on Halloween: A Spiritless Groove Cruise

Join Yacht Drops and The Creative Sober on the 29th for a Halloween dance party featuring an open non-alcoholic bar, live DJs, costumes, and community! Whether cutting back, taking a break, or eliminating alcohol from your life indefinitely, this all-inclusive event has got you covered with an array of libations. Boarding starts at 5:30 p.m. and the transformational voyage sets sail at 6 p.m.


Kids Trick or Treat at Hill Country Galleria 

Come celebrate Halloween with Hill Country Galleria on Saturday October 29th from 10am-2pm! Dress up in your best costume, pick up a festive pumpkin bag from the Central Plaza, and stroll down Hill Country Boulevard to collect treats from your favorite retailers (while supplies last!)


Boo & Brew

Boo & Brew is back at the Arboretum full of family-friendly Halloween actives for all ages! Enjoy a candy crawl “trick or treat” at participating retail vendors, live music and DJ sets, face painting, balloon art, alcohol sampling’s, vendor booths, swag bags, and more. Boo & Brew is free and open to the public!


LCRA Parks’ Tricks, Treats, and Trails 

Fall is in the air at McKinney Roughs Nature Park. On Oct. 29 and 30, don your best costume for the second annual, back-by-popular-demand Tricks, Treats and Trails event for some hocus-pocus family fun. With goodies from the trick-or-treat trail and fire-roasted s’mores galore, sweet tooths are sure to be satisfied. From adventures on the rock-climbing wall and fun with paintball to face painting and exploring the pumpkin patch (beginning Oct. 1), this is a spooky seasonal event your friends and family won’t want to miss.


Halloween “Spooktacular” at Northwest Family YMCA

Experience trick-or-treating with a twist…if you dare. Take a journey down the Northwest Family Y’s outdoor Mysterious Trick-or-Treat Trail filled with monster-loads of candy, spooky games, and surprises around every turn! Register here for this free event.


UNDEAD. Haunted House of Dances

Ventana Ballet presents UNDEAD, an immersive, adults-only Halloween show on October 28th and 29th. Encounter the shadows of the night, where only the undead gather, featuring local professional dance and theater artists. Come early for pre-show tricks. Stay late for post-show treats. The bar will remain open before, during, and after the show.


The Lucky Rabbit’s Halloween Party 

On Saturday, October 29, The Lucky Rabbit Live Music Bar & Kitchen will be hosting a Halloween party for all ages! The party starts at 6 p.m. when live music acts and costume contest voting begins. A variety of Halloween candy will be abundant for attendees along with fun and festive food specials for the day. Adults can also enjoy some spooky drink specials like syringe jello shots. The expansive indoor/outdoor space will be decked out with festive Halloween decor, including a Insta-worthy backdrop for holiday photo ops.


Werewolf Costume Contest at Meanwhile

Meanwhile Brewing’s Werewolf Halloween Costume Contest returns on Wednesday, October 26! Join them for a DJ set by Greg Gioria, a pet-friendly market, a photobooth for your furry friend, and most importantly, the costume contest itself. Dress up your pet in their spookiest or silliest costume to win prizes for a variety of vendors! Make sure you’re ready to go at 7 p.m. sharp for the contest.


A Metal Halloween Costume Contest at Come and Take It

On October 28th show up at Come and Take It dressed to scare. Costumes are encouraged but not required! More ghoulish fun to be had including a costume contest and a scream queen challenge judged by the crowd, candy estimations, and more for various prizes! The first 50 guests get a Halloween party favor! Boozy blood bags available for purchase at the bar while supplies last.


ART Halloween Fest: Mystical Night of the Almost Dark Arts
